🐾 The Final Farewell Party at The Spotted Dog 🐾

Join us on Saturday 27th June from 3pm onwards as we celebrate Kev & Caz and say a proper goodbye to The Spotted Dog ❤️🍻

Expect great music, a disco, BBQ, drinks, laughs, memories and a few surprises along the way… including a little treat from Kev & Caz on prices for the day 👀🎉

A few important reminders:
🍽️ Father’s Day (21st June) will be the final day we are serving food, so come and enjoy your favourites while you still can!

🕒 New opening times start from next week:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: Drinks only, 5pm–7:30pm (no food)

📢 Important Update from The Spotted Dog 🐾

Dear all, after reviewing our Tuesday & Wednesday lunchtime trade, we’ve made the decision to close the pub completely on Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes.

These new hours will begin from Tuesday 2nd of June ⏰

🍻 We’ll still be open for drinks on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, so you can still pop in for a catch-up and a drink with us!

🍽️ Food service opening hours from 2nd June:

Thursday
Lunch: 12–2pm
Evening: 6–8:45pm

Friday
Lunch: 12–2pm
Evening: 6–9pm

Saturday
Lunch: 12–2pm
Evening: 6–9pm

Sunday
12–6pm

💙 Our last kitchen service will be on Father’s Day – Sunday 21st June 2026, as we head towards our final trading & party day on Saturday 27th June 🎉

After 15 unforgettable years, it’ll be time for Kev & Caz to hand over the keys to The Spotted Dog in June ❤️🐾

In the time they’ve been here, we’ve lived through:
England winning the 2011 Six Nations, the glorious 2016 Grand Slam, a Rugby World Cup final, multiple football heartbreaks, “it’s coming home” almost coming home, penalty shoot-out trauma, semi-finals, finals, and enough VAR controversy to last a lifetime… all watched with a pint in hand at the bar.

But far more importantly than sport…

The Spotted Dog became so much more than a pub.

It became family.

Kev & Caz have watched their two boys grow up within these four walls, seen friendships turn into marriages, watched customers become parents, and now are seeing those same families prepare to welcome little ones of their own.

They’ve shared laughter, tears, celebrations, hangovers, Sunday roasts, Christmases, lock-ins (the legal kind, obviously 👀), and sadly said goodbye to some truly beloved faces along the way.

They have loved every second of meeting so many incredible people and making friendships for life.

To watch this pub grow year after year — and become #1 on TripAdvisor for Sunday Roasts in Berkshire — has made them prouder than words can say.

Thank you to everyone who has walked through the doors, pulled up a stool, shared a story, and helped make The Spotted Dog what it is today.

To celebrate these incredible 15 years, we’ll be having a farewell party on the 27th of June and would love all of our lovely customers to join us for one final celebration 🍻❤️

🌸 Mother’s Day at The Spotted Dog 🌸

We are now fully booked all day this Mother’s Day, Sunday 15th March! Thank you so much to everyone who has reserved a table to celebrate with us. 💐

Unfortunately we won’t be able to take any walk-ins on the day as every table is already spoken for.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone who is joining us to celebrate the wonderful mums out there! 🥂
