With England playing on Wednesday evening, we just wanted to let everyone know how entry to The Black Bear will work.
We’ll be operating a wristband system for anyone under 18. Children are very welcome, but they must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
If the pub and garden reach capacity, we’ll be operating a one in, one out system. If you’re planning to come with friends or family, we’d encourage you to arrive early and together if possible to avoid being split up.
There will be no tickets and no entry charge.
Above all, The Black Bear is a family pub, and we want it to be at the heart of the community while remaining accessible to everyone. Football is one of those rare occasions where the whole town and country come together behind the same team, and we’re proud to provide a place where people can enjoy those moments together.
We’ve been working closely with the local police and licensing authority to make sure Wednesday is as safe and enjoyable as possible.
