🚂 ALL ABOARD!!

🚂 On the 4th of September 1866, 160 years ago on this day, the Tenby Railway Viaduct alongside the Tenby railway station opened.
🚂 A Grade II listed seven arch structure made of rock-faced grey limestone, measuring 125 meters, is an impressive backdrop to The Evergreen Inn.
It is reported in a book, describing the history of Tenby pubs, the Evergreen Inn was a store room for the workers on the railway, our history originates from the building of the viaduct.
🚂 Paul & Kat embraced this history, a year ago, redecorating in a Victorian theme and collecting railway memorabilia, to enhance the bar.
🤗 We would like you to join us tomorrow from 4pm, to celebrate the 1st and 160th anniversary’s shared at The Evergreen Inn, holding our first Garden Party, which will be an annual event!

🚂 The Evergreen Inn originated from a store room, for workers building the Victorian impressive railway viaduct.
🍺 A landlady began selling ale from barrels out of the store room, to keep the navies on site.
🚂 The viaduct opened on the 4th of September 1866.
🍻We are celebrating this 160th anniversary with a garden party on Saturday 5th September, all welcome from 4pm 😍
