Please remember with the events, there are always scammers commenting and trying to get stall holders money on our advertisements etc on social media pages. ...

Please be aware of this, for the Halls main events - The Village Fete & The Christmas Fayre you will only ever be contacted by Chloe Jade & The Hall on messenger & comments.

If anyone else comments saying about the fayre or fete please ignore them it will only ever be Chloe under her own profile or the Hall.

I wanted to make people aware as it has already started on the craft pages unfortunately 😔

Dear friends and neighbours 🤗

We had a very successful day on Tuesday 18th August raising money for Breast Cancer.

The cake donations were numerous and delicious and we couldn't have done it without you 🍰 .

Thank you to all our volunteers on the day and to everyone who came along to support this important charity ❤️ .

Together we made a total of £361.60!! 🤩

Please be aware due to ongoing weather 🌞🌍

🚭 Temporary no smoking restrictions🚭

With the Environment Agency having confirmed that we are officially in drought the committee have introduced a temporary no smoking policy across the Village Hall site with immediate effect
Smoking is not permitted on any grass/wooded/garden area
and not within 5 metres of the hall buildings.

Smoking is ONLY permitted on the car park and on the patio outside of the studio ( subject to the 5 metre rule)
If you do smoke within the premitted areas please
ensure that all smoking materials are fully extinguished and disposed of responsibly.

These restrictions will remaim in place until 1st September 2026 and will be reviewed on that date
Thank you for your co-operation in helping to protect the Village Hall in these unusual times.

Dear friends and neighbours,

🚪 We have just had new oak front doors put on at the entrance to the village hall.

🤗 We are continually trying to improve the facilities available at the hall for the local community.

☺️ This latest purchase has been made possible by the generosity of the 200 club of which many of you are members.

🙌 Thank you to everyone involved to our local Joiner Nicolas J Clayton & to Denise and Amanda who made this happen.

❤️ We think they look fabulous and they freshen up the entrance to the hall wonderfully.

I would like to personally thank Gill King of Bella Boo’s of Newport & Gorgeous Grooms Newport Ltd at Chetwynd Firs .

She sponsored & judged our 1st Dog Show and managed to make it a success. 🐾

Definitely a few things to take on board next year, to make it better and abit more organised with the booking etc haha.
I was stressing and she was just like 'it's fine Chloe, don't stress, I will sort it and pull it out the bag' and she did just that! 🥰

The Dog Show was literally an idea that was just for fun, for people to show their wonderful pet family members off and to raise money for the Hall. ♥️

It ended up being a terrific success and some very happy Doggy Families with their prizes and some dogs not being able to get out the ring without eating their chews 😂

So here's to next year's Dog Show, which as always with the Fete each Year will be even better & hopefully Gill will be joining us again. 😀
