Saturday night gets dark, loud, and chaotic as BLOODSHED takes over Albert’s Shed.

deejay_darkfada and colondnb are behind the decks all night, dropping a lethal mix of spooky classics and floor-filling dance anthems to keep the room moving until 4AM!

It would not be Halloween without proper effort, so bring out your best horror gear, costumes, and fake blood. There is a £50 bar tab up for grabs for the best dressed on the night, so make it count.

Free entry before 9pm, and just £5 after. Get in early, claim your spot at the bar, and let us have a big one.

Grab the mic this Halloween at Albert’s shed Southwater for a night of big tunes, Horror vibes, and questionable vocals.

Whether you fancy belting out a spooky classic like Thriller or Monster Mash, or just want to bring your usual go-to party banger to the stage, the playlist is open to whatever gets the room going.
Fancy dress is heavily encouraged, so feel free to dig out the costumes, fake blood, or whatever outfit you can lay your hands on to get in the spirit of things.

Entry is completely free all night. Grab your mates, get down early to secure a table, and get ready for a properly chaotic night behind the mic.

HEAT THREE WINNERS: THIS FALLEN CITY 🏆

The results are officially in from Heat Three, and a massive congratulations to This Fallen City, who take the win and book their place in the final!

Big respect to The Straze, Lynus, and Indelible Creatures for three incredible sets. The standard of music on that stage was top quality from start to finish, and every band brought something brilliant to the room.

That means our lineup for the final is now officially set. Mark your calendars for Friday 6th November, kicking off at 9pm, to see who takes the crown.

A quick heads up for the final: there will be no online voting for this one. Only in-person votes cast in the venue will count on the night, so make sure you are in the room to back your band.

Well, smack my thighs and eat my peaches, Albert and the Mixtape peeps have yet another boster of a show for you good, good people.

Kicking off we have the incredible HELEN POLATAJKO with her folksy, indie, poetic charm. SPLENDID.

Next, we have a first time showing from Brum based postpunkyshoegazery types GILL who bring the brooding rawknroll. SPIFFING.

Headlining, we have those glorious, kaleidoscopic, psychedelic beauties THE SPIRIT WAGON who never fail to wow us mere mortals. TREMENDOUS.

From her beginnings with all-female 2 Tone band The Bodysnatchers and her collaborations with The Specials, Madness and more through to her acclaimed work as a solo artist, Rhoda remains a compelling performer, songwriter and storyteller.

In February 2027, Rhoda takes to the road with her 6 piece band for a special tour celebrating the grassroots music venues that remain the lifeblood of live music.

Expect an intimate, energetic journey through a remarkable career: songs from The Bodysnatchers and the 2 Tone era, alongside Rhoda’s solo material and more recent recordings — performed up close in the kind of independent venues where artists, audiences and musical communities have always come together.

lan Prowse & Amsterdam | November 13th 2026

Merseyside hero lan Prowse is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and frontman of Amsterdam. Previously the frontman of indie cult band Pele.

Raised on protest songs, influenced by the Celtic sounds that make Liverpool so unique, and inspired by the song writing craftsmanship of Paul Weller, Mike Scott, Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Costello, lan's 30-year song writing career and 100% committed live shows have gathered him a reputation as the 'Scouse Springsteen' amongst his devoted fans.

Pete Williams is a founding member of Dexys Midnight Runners playing on their number one single “Geno” and also being a pivotal force in their resurgence as Dexys.

Born to Black Country parents just inside a new decade, Pete Williams went to school, had a paper round, dreamed and played clarinet.

At age 14 he bought a bass guitar and was soon playing in various bands appearing in social clubs around the industrial West Midlands. Four years later he was invited by an old school friend to join a “new wave soul group” as yet unnamed, which later became DEXYS MIDNIGHT RUNNERS

GIG ANNOUNCEMENT | HUNZZ W/ ANNA SILVERS | NOVEMBER 6TH!

HUNZZ are coming to Albert’s Shed. The five piece have been touring around the uk, bouncing around the place like a pinball, and they’ve been taking their funk/jazz infused pop sound with them. We are lucky to be one of the stops and Albert recommends you come and see them now, as their trajectory is currently taking them to the moon and you might not get the chance again.

Anna Silvers on support. Shrewsbury’s very own, although she has flown the nest and now finds herself in Liverpool, Anna is a versatile musician that draws from Pop, Jazz, and Folk. On this visit Anna will be gifting us with a solo set and Albert can’t wait.
