We're back open today at 4pm!
Unsuprisingly not everything went to plan with the rain and a stinking cold ruining the chances of some of the maintenance happening, but the external facelift has continued on the dry days and is looking great!
And at least plenty of Christmas and halloween films were watched for inspiration and planning... just while in a snotty sneezy sleepy sweaty mess rather than while enjoying a little break 🫠🤧
Hopefully will shake this stupid cold in time to enjoy the Boom Box Babies on Sunday, and try again next Monday to get the jobs done!

Apologies, we will be closing early tonight at 7pm, but we do have a lovely afternoon with Phil Smyth at 3pm before that!
This is for various reasons, the main one being we are already planned to be closed Mon 7th to Thurs 10th at 4pm (as advertised on boards in the pub) for some maintenance... and also a post long hot summer little rest!
While we have 5 ales on, due to the planned days being closed there is none conditioned in the cellar ready, so will likely be limited on beers available later, and similarly won't be changing new kegs late in the day either as the cellar is being deliberately left as empty as possible for maintenance while closed 😊
We probably should have pre-empted and planned closing time sooner, but logic apparently didn't enter either of our minds sorry!
Sorry for any inconvenience or dissapointment caused.

Unusual for a Monday, we're open today 2pm - 6.30pm with live music at 3pm with The Scorchers!
And a little reminder we'll be open reduced hours tomorrow Tuesday 1st Sept of 4pm - 9pm.

It's a triple header Sunday!
Nikita Louise will be starting the music for us at 3pm followed by Yonder Folk trio and Mafia 4 ending the night for us.
We're open til 10.30pm tonight, and tomorrrow being bank holiday Monday we're open 2 til 6.30pm with music at 3pm from The Scorchers .
