The Taunton Vale hockey community are deeply saddened by the news that one of our extended family, John Bird, has sadly passed away.
John’s wife Helena (Hemsie) and daughter Talia are both active members at Vale, with Hemsie also fulfilling a vital role on the TVHC Committee. John himself was a keen hockey player and had umpired for Vale in the past.
Our thoughts are with Hemsie, Talia and the rest of John’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time.
