The York Inn is located in the Village of Churchinford which sits conveniently 10 miles equal distance to Taunton, Honiton and Chard. This small village is part of the designated area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty', now also recognized as an 'environmentally sensitive' area. Formerly a traditional 16th Century hostelry, The York Inn maintains its original character with a large cosy wood burner,

oak beams, a bar with different areas for people to sit comfortably along with family or friends to enjoy a home cooked meal or a just simply catch up with a drink and a chat. There is even a jukebox, games room with a pool table and large TV, also a designated, heated, smoking shelter! With a maximum seating capacity of up to 40 people private functions are welcome and can be catered for tailored to suite specific requirements. Freshly cooked food, sourced from local suppliers is served lunchtimes and evenings. Coffees, Sandwiches, Panini’s and Soups are served throughout the day. Smaller portions are available for children or people with lesser appetites should they wish.
