It's tomorrow!
We’re bringing our brand new Tiddlygigs Storytime, Tiddalik the Frog, to Bridgwater Arts Centre tomorrow morning. Expect live music, songs, instruments to see up close and lots of opportunities for little ones to join in.

Based on an Australian Aboriginal tale, Tiddalik is a very thirsty frog who drinks up all the water. Can the other animals find a way to get it back?

Tickets start from just £8 per family, so it’s an affordable morning out with the little ones. We also have a half price option for families on a lower income.

One of the lovely things about Tiddlygigs Storytime is getting to see instruments up close and find out how they work. Little ones can see and hear them being played live, and sometimes even have a go at pressing the buttons!

Come and join us for Tiddalik the Frog this Saturday at Bridgwater Arts Centre. A fun, interactive story with live music, songs and lots of opportunities to join in.

A song from our brand new Tiddlygigs Storytime, Tiddalik the Frog! 🐸

“Hrrrumph went the big green frog” is my favourite from the story. It’s been fun to use a minor key for this one, which you don’t hear so often in children’s songs. I even had to learn a new minor chord on the ukulele!

But a grumpy frog needs grumpy sounding music, doesn’t he?!

Come along to Bridgwater Arts Centre this Saturday to find out what happens to Tiddalik and the other animals.

A little honest post from behind the scenes at Tiddlygigs.

We’re really struggling with ticket sales for our autumn Tiddalik the Frog tour. I don’t know whether it’s the cost of living, the back to school rush or just that we’re getting a bit lost amongst everything else going on, but I’d really love to get the word out to more local families.

We’re at Bridgwater Arts Centre this Saturday, then Ilminster Arts Centre on Wednesday 28th, Westlands in Yeovil on Thursday 29th October, and Minehead Methodist Church on Saturday 7th November.

Tickets are just £8 per family, so bring three children if you like, it’s still just £8! We also have a half price low income option for families who need it.

We’ve also got a Tiddlygigs concert with Kitty Stewart in Taunton on 26th October.

For our October Tiddlygigs concert, we’re welcoming Kitty Stewart for the first time!
Expect soulful vocals, uplifting ukulele and plenty of opportunities to sing, dance, play percussion or just sit back and enjoy the music.

Monday 26th October, 10.30am at St James Church, Taunton. Its half term so big ones are very welcome too!

A slightly late song share this week!

This is a great one for helping little ones get comfortable with you and with a new prop in your music session. There’s lots of opportunity to practise stopping and starting, and exploring high and low sounds too.

This is a super simple song that I use almost every class!

Thank you to all who made it to our last concert on Monday with the fabulous .trumpet....lots of dancing and fun as always.

Our next concert is another Monday - the 26th October which is half term week so bring the ones too (I will be!). Tickets will go live this Monday.

Tomorrow morning we’ve got the fantastic Luis Martelo back with us on trumpet for our Tiddlygigs concert.

Monday 28th September

There’ll be lots of upbeat music to dance and move to, plus apple cake and our famous chocolate chip cookies afterwards.

Doors open at 9.45am, not before! I may have forgotten that I no longer live in Taunton and have to do a school run...

Tiddalik the Frog is coming to Burnham on Sea TOMORROW!

Join us at 10.30am for a fun, musical storytelling adventure with live instruments, songs, dancing and plenty of chances to join in. Suitable for ages 2 to 7, with siblings very welcome.

Tickets are just £8 per family, and I also have a limited number of free seats available for tomorrow thanks to our funding. If you’d like one, just message the Tiddlygigs page and I’ll sort you out.
