Just a 100 yards away from us you can trek a sheep Somerset Sheep Trekking !!! Don't knock it until you've tried it!!! 🐑 🐏 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♀️

Our latest campers came all the way over from New Zealand and couldn't believe their luck finding our campsite in Pitmnister as their ancestors lived here from the as far back as the 1600's.

We were delighted to be able to help with some jnfo about the local area and also helped with bit of research

They loved and gave us these chocolates from New Zealand as a thank you! 🍫🎁

We wish them luck with their camper as they tour the UK and Europe for the next 6 months!!

Chris has done most of the work building the campsite but the girls and I have helped out, making it a proper family project.

A bit about us:

We love camping and had a tent for years before we invested in our Elddis Xplore 304 in June 2020. Here we are this summer camping in France.

We love to camp and explore the outdoors together. The girls are getting to that age where they want some space, so it's great that they can go off together and adventure and make friends when we are camping!

Chris' family have owned the field just up the road from our house for years and never used it for anything. Chris has always wanted to turn it into a campsite but never thought it would be possible! Covid changed our view on things and we just decided it's now or never and went for it!!

Welcome to Fawns View Camping Pitminster 🏕

A Club CS, situated just outside Taunton, Somerset at the base of the Blackdowns hills.

We are a brand new family run site, ready to open in the next few weeks. Welcoming up to 5 caravans/motor caravans and 10 tents, including trailer tents (all C&CC members only for more details headover to )

We have beautiful views of the Quantock's and Blackdown's, and there is lots to offer in the area; including the local pub , sheep trekking not to mention golf, Taunton Race Course, and plenty of local walks.

We are also only 25 miles from Lyme Regis beach ⛱ 😎
