💚 A Final Thank You 💚
Well… that’s it.
The doors are closed, the lights are off, and after three and a half unforgettable years, The Chapel’s story has come to an end.
I’ve spent the last few days trying to find the right words, but the truth is, there probably aren’t any that can truly express how grateful I am.
I want to thank everyone for the support over the last 3 and a half years. The friendships we’ve made, the laughs we’ve had, celebrations and some commiserations.
We’ve had some amazing customers, neighbours, suppliers, skilled services, volunteers and friends.
(plus a few that have tried to stop us from succeeding along the way).
We’ve been blown away by the cards, comments and genuine love we’ve received.
Our last few days at The Chapel were exhausting and emotional but on Saturday we were so thankful to be part of the village Fete and see so many friendly faces.
The hardest part has been not seeing our team every day. We have had the best team that any business could ever ask for. Our team have given it their all to ensure everyone has been made to feel welcome at The Chapel. They have worked long hours in an extremely hot or cold environment, often with little appreciation from some customers, however they have always smiled (with the occasional tear along the way) and worked as one team (or perhaps as a slightly dysfunctional family). We love them all!
I would also like to thank Fielding VA for managing our Social Media and Marketing for the last two years. Every post you have seen, has been professionally planned and delivered by Fielding VA, (which is not easy when working with me). I would highly recommend Daisy from Fielding VA to any business that is looking to grow their social media visibility, marketing or events.
My final thank you goes to my wife, Tracey, there simply aren’t enough words. Thank you for standing beside me through every high and every low. You poured your heart and soul into The Chapel, made countless sacrifices behind the scenes, and never stopped believing in what we were trying to create. None of this would have been possible without you. Love you Mrs E.
