A Little Reminder About Our Car Park

We’d just like to kindly remind everyone that the car park at The Green Man is private property and is provided for the use of our customers and visitors to the pub.

We completely understand that the car park can be convenient, but please could we ask that it isn’t used as a general drop-off, turning point or waiting area, including for school pick-ups.

Unfortunately, it has become increasingly difficult for our customers with accessibility needs, who rely on being able to park in a suitable space closer to the entrance of the building.

We have also noticed over the last few weeks some damage to the exit area, along with issues relating to vehicle alarms. We do not want this to become disruptive to our guests or our neighbours.

We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy The Green Man safely and comfortably, while keeping suitable parking available for those who genuinely need closer access to the entrance.

We really appreciate everyone's understanding, consideration and cooperation. Please help us keep our car park available for our customers, particularly those who need it most.

☀️ A PERFECT SUMMER’S DAY SPENT WELL ☀️

Whether you’re joining us for lunch and enjoying our signature Ploughman’s or one of our lighter bites in the sunshine, there’s no better place to while away a summer’s day than our garden.

And as the afternoon turns into evening, why not let us take care of dinner? BBQ from 5pm, great food, ice-cold drinks and the chance to experience the solar eclipse from the garden. 🌅🔥

We’ve also been working hard behind the scenes with our littlest guests in mind ❤️ We’re putting together some garden toys and a little area of their own, giving them somewhere to burn off some steam while you sit back, relax and enjoy the garden.
