3,905 days. Hundreds of thousands of pints poured. More laughs, tears, dances, kisses, and messy nights than we could ever count. 💔 And now… the time has come for The White Lion’s last party.

What started as Trisha (Tom) turning up for “just one gig on a Friday night” turned into something none of us could have imagined. Russell (Sandy Lane) gave her the keys, and Trisha gave The White Lion its name, its spirit, and its soul – building a home where everyone was welcome, and where every night could turn into the best night of your life. 🏳️‍🌈✨

We’ll never forget…
🍺 The infamous carpet in the ladies’ toilets (say no more).
⏰ When Dan Deeley turned the clocks back an hour so Trisha kept the party going.
💃 Becky’s dramatic fall up the stage during pride weekend.
🤣 The banter between the bar staff and customers that kept everyone coming back.
🍟 The night Trisha & Harvey chased someone all the way to McDonald’s after a window got smashed (they literally dove through the drive-thru window thinking Trisha was about to kill them).
🧳 Trisha’s countless dramatic exits with an empty suitcase on a Saturday night.
🎯 The burst water pipe on Christmas Day – all thanks to “human darts” courtesy of the staff.

With Candy Martel (Megs/Paul), Russell, and all the faces who made magic behind that bar, The White Lion wasn’t just a pub – it was chaos, comedy, and community all rolled into one.

This Saturday 11th October 2025, we’re saying goodbye the only way we know how: with drag, dancing, glitter, banter, and one more night of beautiful madness. 🎉👠

And don’t worry – Trisha & Becky aren’t hanging up their heels. You’ll see them strutting into their new home very soon. But first… let’s give The White Lion the farewell it deserves. 🥂🐾
