Thank you to everyone who took part in Lillian Penman’s Pool Memorial Day.
My wife would be very happy, and I know she’s down there now, watching and smiling.
Thank you all for everything you’ve done — it truly means a lot.
Sorry it’s taken so long for Lillian’s memorial stone, but it’s now finished and will be in place in the next couple of weeks.
From me, her husband — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Ronald Wyles’ funeral will take place at the Crematorium on Thursday 8th January at 1:20 pm.
Family and friends are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
Following the service, there will be a drink in memory of Ron at The Jackdaw from 5:00 pm.
After speaking with Ron’s sister, it was confirmed that Ron did not want any fuss.
A great man, he will be missed by all.

Regarding yesterday's post with the 7 o'clock no kids i will however let kids stop in restaurant area but will have to be with there mum and dads until 9 only I think that's late enough for kids to be in a pub but they will not be allowed in mine lounge or pool room areas after 7pm

Winter Evenings – Adults Time 🍺

It’s that time of year again – winter is here.
With the beer garden now closed and it too cold for kids to be outside, we’re switching to adults time in the evenings.

From Friday 19th:
🚫 No children in the pub after 7pm
No ifs, no buts.

When the days get lighter and the weather improves, we’ll return to normal.
