Yep yep!!!! The Society for the Preservation of Beer from the Wood, have let us fill a cask with Marble Brewery Manchester Bitter.

It's gonna take a couple of weeks to do It's thing while conditioning in the cask, but don't worry, we will keep you posted on when we expect the beer to be on the bar.

MILD MAY!!!! ... It's that time of year... the early daylight mornings are now in full swing, and the lighter nights are definitely making their presence.

And even though it's not maga mega warm yet, the weather is changing to the warmer part of the year.

So, how else (other than a month of "Milds" on the bar) can we end the guaranteed presence of the darker Stouts and Porters that are served from the Cask?

From June, Stouts and Porters will make their way over to the kegs.

There will always be something silly and strong on the darker side, but we will also be offering a typical dark beer on the keg too, so don't be too worried.

To kick things off on this transitional month, "Mild May"... come and sup this Buxton Brewery / Monsal Mild. 4.5%abv.
