The pub will be opening today at 7pm for the last Monday quiz night, starts at 8pm and raises money for the prospect hospice. hope you can all come along, support this last one and raise some money for charity!

Hi All,

It is with heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to leave our position as tenants. As you are probably all aware Claire and I welcomed our twins last March and it is has become increasingly clear that we cannot run the pub in the way we hoped, and the way it deserves, whilst giving our children the support and quality time they deserve and hope the pub can find a tenant that is able to do it justice.

We will be open as usual in the coming days, although understandably stock will be limited as we attempt to run it down. A further update in terms of the end of our tenancy and any closure will follow later in the week.

Despite being in many ways the toughest year of our lives, it has been an honour to be a part of this pub's history and serve the community. Thank you all so much for your support, we truly appreciate you all. A special mention to our loyal regulars, all the bands and musicians that have performed, the Monday night quizzers, the coffee morning gang and to everybody and showed us kindness and support. We hope as many of you as possible will come to say goodbye before we leave.

Hi all,
want to say a massive thankyou to everyone who came for new year’s eve and specially to the lost hills for, as always, making it an amazing night!
