The Little Hop

That’s all folks!
You may well have heard that we’re closing The Little Hop. It’s true. This weekend is the Little Hop’s last – hope you’ll pop in to see us and say goodbye.

But, ‘Hoppiness’ continues at – as always an impressive range of beers and ciders, top food, great comedy and live music gigs, art exhibitions, quiz nights, extremely attractive staff (?) and, as the clocks go forward, the beer garden.

We wish Broadtown Brewery all the best as they take over next week.

Thanks to every one of you who’ve drunk here over the last five years. You’ll be missed.

Very last orders will be called at 10 to 10pm on Sunday!

THE SCHLAGER RETURNS, IN HEALTH NOT IN SICKNESS.
In July 2024, the spawn of an unholy union betwixt Swindon and Peckham that is SCHLAGER MODUS OPERANDI (aka and ) seized control of our speakers for a pub shaking four hour mammoth set. Since then the duo have been deep in the lab conjuring up mixes that probe the outer reaches of poplar music. Sickness could only delay the inevitable, on February 8th they make their long awaited return.

THE MODUS OPERANDI: gently ease in the uninitiated with a globe spanning assortment of oddities and rarities, along with a smattering of pub classics. As the evening progresses the energy increases and the true potential of the SCHLAGER will be revealed. A kaleidoscopic mix of pop curveballs, house, techno, digi-dub, grime, UKG, jungle and baile funk to either kick start your Saturday night or send you home with a skip in your step.
