Can Chris guess the Country, Region and main grape varietal with the bottle hidden?

This week we thought we'd try and catch him out with our choice...and it worked! The Casal da Coelheira Reserva Branco is usually quite rich and buttery - almost like Burgundy - but as we have recently moved onto a newer vintage, the bottles are still a bit brighter than they were - still delicious but very different right now to how the older vintage was drinking.

Can Chris guess the Country, Region and main grape varietal with the bottle hidden?

We're pretty familiar in Swansea with the old Beaujolais - and the distinct banana aromas created by carbonic maceration, a unique w**emaking technique most famously used with Gamay grapes, are a bit of a giveaway if you know what you're sniffing for!

Beaujolais Villages Les Pivoines is a definite step up on Nouveau and is perfect to accompany a cheese or charcuterie board.
