Ahoy there to our beautiful friends and customers, the weekend is upon us once again. We hope you all had a great time last weekend for our music double ender, a big thanks to all those who came down to support and of course to the amazing artists who made it such a unique musical experience.
This weekend we've got more awesome live bands lined up to help you cast off the stench of the weekly grind. Friday we are hosting a grunge, indie and rock spectacular with .sw and playing from 8pm. They're sure to be angstier than me after a few double espressos on my way to meet the accountant. I know I'll be writing my feelings down in a book and painting my nails black.
All weekend we'll be serving beers of excellence, the weather is looking good for once, so this could be your last chance to grab a pint in the sun and some scran from , they're fishy and delishy.
Be there or be baselessly accusing refugees and immigrants of eating your pets.

Well hello again to all our friends, patrons and followers. We hope you all had a great summer, despite the obvious lack of sun. Towards Autumn we trot, a new government to despair about, a genocide in Palestine still being ignored and the threat of nuclear war lurking in the background....but f**k all that s**t, here at Ty Cwrw we've got a line up of live music and beers of excellence that'll make you happier than a Prozac sandwich washed down with ecstacy shandy.
Starting with tomorrow, Friday 13th, we welcome back the superlative Afternoon in Paris, bringing us a night of gypsy jazz to get you all up dancing and swinging the lights. They kick off 8pm but get in early to secure your spot.
Saturday we've got an exclusive album launch party for the .uninvitedband . They'll be playing all the tracks off their new album, followed by having a session on the decks. We'll be hosting this event at the Shared Plate for this one off special, we'll have a can and spirit bar on site there, with pints available from Ty Cwrw. The show kicks off at 8pm.
We hope you all can make it down for what are sure to be special evenings.

Fancying a pint or two of some delicious craft beer this weekend? If the answer's yes then pop along to Ty Cwrw for the best line up cask and keg beers around.
We'll be serving some fine specimens from the likes of and many more over the weekend.

I've also heard a rumour that elusive orange ball in the sky will be making an appearance, so come and grab a spot in our seafront beer garden and enjoy the sunshine before it inevitably disappears for another year. Whilst you're there, tuck into a fishy feast from , I can't think of a better way to spend my time (writing inane crap on insta notwithstanding).

For those of you who are interested, there's a stop the far right march taking place in Castle Square in town on Sunday at 11am, when they go low, we go high. Come and show your support!

Well well well, who'd have thought that big orangy thing in the sky was going to make an appearance this year, and I don't mean the Donald trump blimp. We've got some great entertainment and delectable beers to make the most of this veritable fart that we call summer, it'll be disappearing quicker than Michelle Mone on a luxury yacht.
Tomorrow night (Friday) we've got the alt-country stylings of Sam Owens, accompanied by only one of his almost loyal pickers on this occasion . Full band or not, they'll be sure to get Ur feet a stompin and wanting to marry your own sister (or brother).
We've got a fine selection of beers to keep you cool on these sticky evenings (that just me? 😉), with the likes of and many others across the weekend. And why not grab some food in the beer garden from , it's fishy and delishy.

Well another weekend of fine beers and fabulous live music is upon us already. But before I get into that we (Rhys & Stu) would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone who turned out to celebrate our 5th birthday with us last weekend, it truly was a banger. We are eternally grateful to and Stu's Gastric Band for making it such an awesome weekend. You even managed to drink us out of beer Saturday, that's never happened before and it won't happen again!
A lot has happened since then, we finally got those venal, self-serving, reptilian, over-privelaged, detached from reality pieces of scum out of power, so another big thanks for everyone who turned out to vote them out.
Anyhow, onto this weekend, tonight (Friday) is just a general evening of convivial drinking and chatting with Ur favourite landlords (well, me and Rhys will be there anyway).
Saturday we've got local favourites with their folk-inflected take on modern classics. They're awesome musicians and the nicest bunch of blokes you'll ever meet, so come and have a sing along and a few pints.
If you didn't catch our slightly subversive art exhibition last week by , we've still got some pieces knocking about for you to check out. Plus there's a few limited edition Ty Cwrw and exist t-shirts left, so snap em up before they're gone.
It's also Swansea airshow this weekend, so why not grab some take away beers and watch it from our beer garden or the prom, there's no better seat in the house. And why not soak up your delicious beer with some pescetarian perfection from while watching some planes go loop de loop.
As always we'll have a fine selection of cask and keg beers for you to sample all weekend long.

Well bloody hell, that 5 years has gone quick. A big thank you to all our friends and customers who continue to support and other small independent venues, we wouldn't be here without you.
To celebrate, we've got a hell of a line up of music, beers and art all weekend. We'll also be supporting our mates from by helping to raise some cash for their worthy cause.
Tonight we've got Ty Cwrw favourites Stu's Gastric Band playing from 8pm. They'll be bringing their inimitable style of musical mayhem, guaranteed to get everyone in the mood.
Saturday there's an exhibition from Welsh satirical artist , holding up a darkly-tinged mirror to Welsh life and the mire that is British politics.
Then in the evening we're getting all punk with local old boys from 8pm who'll be bringing a bit of old school anarchy to mumbles.
As always we are stocked with beers that'll make your mouth water more than a Tory making a dodgy bet, with the likes of and many more.
Be there or be some racist public school boy who looks like a frog dressed as a 1920s ice-cream seller. Farage eh, resurfacing more often than a greasy turd on boxing day.

Ahoy there shipmates, that big warm orangy thing is out and we're set for another decent(ish) weekend, so be sure to pop into Ty Cwrw Mumbles for some brilliant live music and a beer line up that will have u frothing at the mouth like a Tory cutting off someone's disability benefit. We'll also be honouring Swansea pride all weekend so be sure to bring your rainbow flags and dress as scandalously as you dare

Saturday 8pm the smokey and the band ( ) are back doing their thing, with a bunch of leftfield alternative acoustic covers to get you singing along and stomping those feet. If you missed them the first time around, this is your chance to see what they're all about.

Live music this Saturday with , a local acoustic 3 piece playing some leftfield classics from 8pm.
There'll be an array of thirst quenching keg and cask beers, ciders, wines and spirits to get you in the mood. So join us for some fun times down at Ty Cwrw.

Ahoy hoy shipmates, we hope everyone's enjoying the unfathomably moist start to April. The weekend promises brighter times, so why not join us for guaranteed sunshine in a glass with beers and ales of excellence and some damn fine live music to boot.

Saturday we're hosting Smokey & The Band , a local acoustic 3 piece, they've never played with us before so come down and give them a proper Ty Cwrw welcome.

Beer-wise we've got some right bobby dazzlers for you, we've got the sapphically named D**e Renaissance from , the dank and juicy Yonkers from , the delectable Return of the nectarons from , the tropically juicy Calmer chameleon from , Thunderbird from , Amber Gambler, also by coach and probably a few others I've unintentionally omitted.

Hump day done and dusted, just one more day to bank holiday weekend and do we have a love music line up to mark the occasion down at ? Friday we'll be kicking off the weekend with local favourites Stu's Gastric Band. Bouncing between blues, RnB, bluegrass, and f**knows what, these local boys always put on a show and get the lights a-swinging and feet a-stompin.
Then Saturday we bring you performing an exclusive acoustic set, they might look like they're only months off the teat, but they were born to rock it. They'll be smashing it from 8pm saturday.

There'll be a cornucopia of taste bud arousing beer, ales, and ciders from local and independent breweries to keep you in the holiday mood all weekend. Check out our beer board for updates.

Thank jebus that's another 6 nations done and dusted, not that I haven't enjoyed the fortnightly fi***ng of our national team and loved crying over our annual s**t-off with Italy for the wooden spoon, like two maingy pigeons fighting over the last rotten chip on mumbles promenade. Anyways, onwards and upwards and let the music commence. This Saturday we have some silky-smooth, Latin inflected jazz with Afternoon in Paris. They're smoother than a leopard wearing a tuxedo with tunes to match, they kick off at 7.30 this Saturday 23rd March, get here early to stake out your spot and enjoy the show.
We've got plenty of delicious cask and keg ales available all week from the likes of and many more.
