A huge congratulations to Bruce Davies on being named Oliver’s & Castell Howell’s Performance of the Night for U55’s Series 2 Week 1!

Bruce produced a fantastic performance, securing a 2-0 victory while posting an impressive 73.32 average and achieving a remarkable 100% checkout rate. He also fired in two 100+ scores, a 140+ score, and a superb 180 to cap off an outstanding display.

A brilliant turnout and a great night’s darts to kick off Week 1 of the series!

🥇 Winner: Taz Halliday
Taz put in a strong performance throughout the night and came out on top in the final with a 3-1 victory. Congratulations on taking home the Week 1 title! 👏

OLIVER’S & CASTELL HOWELL U55 AVERAGE SERIES 2

Rule Regarding Averages

As most of you already know, averaging over 55 in a single night is allowed. However, if you average over 55 in two tournaments, you will be removed from the series.

This rule is in place to keep the competition as fair as possible for everyone involved. In the past, we’ve had players enter with averages that weren’t accurate, giving them an unfair advantage over the rest of the field.

This rule applies to everyone, whether you’re a regular player or entering for the first time.

We want this tournament to be competitive, enjoyable, and fair for all players. Unfortunately, setting an average limit is the only way we can ensure that happens.

Removing players from the series is the last thing we want to do, but we also have a responsibility to be fair to everyone taking part. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

After another exciting round of fixtures, Louis Melville remains unstoppable at the top of the table with a perfect 10 wins from 10 matches, boasting an impressive 77.29 average and 27 points. 👏🔥

David John Spencer continues to chase in second place, while Craig Walters and Ben Petford are locked together on 11 points in the battle for the top four.

Richie Limbert sits in 6th place with a solid 60.17 average, while the race for league positions remains wide open as we head into the next set of matches.
