📢 SATURDAY FOOD SERVICE UPDATE

Just a little heads-up for anyone planning to visit us this Saturday!

Due to a private function taking place at The Swanbrook Bar & Restaurant, and with all of our staff dedicated to making sure the event runs smoothly, unfortunately we won’t be serving food this Saturday.

🍻 The bar will still be open as usual, so you’re more than welcome to pop in and join us for a drink!

We apologise for any inconvenience and really appreciate your understanding. 💙

🏏🔴🔵 WHAT A DAY FOR THE 50TH STEWARDS CUP! 🔵🔴🏏

What a fantastic day we had celebrating 50 years of the Con Club vs Swanage RBL Cricket Match! 🏆

Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite our year on the cricket pitch… 😅

🏆 Swanage RBL took the 2026 Stewards Cup, beating the Con Club by 18 runs. Congratulations to the Legion on a brilliant game and a well-deserved victory! 👏

However… we can’t let the day go by without mentioning that THE CON CLUB DID WIN THE TUG OF WAR! 🔵💪😂

We’ll take our victories where we can get them! 🏆🤣

But the biggest win of the whole day was what we achieved together off the pitch…

💰🏏 AN INCREDIBLE £944 WAS RAISED FOR SWANAGE CRICKET CLUB YOUTH SECTION! 🏏💰

A huge thank you to absolutely everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets, joined in with the football cards and supported the fundraising throughout the day. Raising such a fantastic amount for the next generation of local cricketers is something everyone involved should be incredibly proud of. ❤️💙

We’d also like to give some very special thank yous to:

🏏 Swanage Cricket Club for hosting us and helping make the day possible
⚪ Jon Olsen & Steve Howard – our umpires

🏏 All of the players – what a fantastic game of cricket and a brilliant way to mark the 50th anniversary!

And finally, a massive thank you to all the former players, members, families, friends and supporters who came along. Seeing so many people there supporting this wonderful Swanage tradition made the 50th anniversary incredibly special.

Congratulations again to Swanage RBL on taking home the Stewards Cup – we’ll be coming for it next year! 😉🏏
