Great to see the first ambulance vehicles being worked on this week at our Aylesbury contract.

The transformation has been remarkable. What started as an empty warehouse has now become a fully equipped, state-of-the-art vehicle workshop.

Phase 2 is progressing well and remains on track for completion in July.

Vision has worked closely with the South Central Fleet and Estates teams to deliver this project, and the collaboration throughout has been excellent.

A huge credit to everyone involved in making this project a success so far. We look forward to reaching the next milestone in the coming weeks and continuing to build on the progress achieved to date.

Pharmacy project -
Today we started at Reading Ambulance station the first of 4 stations in phase 1 of the pharmacy upgrade project .
First part was to remove all the medication equipment into a temporary container to allow for the works to be carried out over the next few weeks.

Upgrading the pharmacy and make ready rooms on each site .
Including -
New vynl flooring
Air conditioning to temperature control the rooms for the storage of medicine .
Anti bacterial paint to all walls
New hygenic doors
Bespoke storage cabinets for the storage and distribution of medical supplies into the Ambulances .
Data and electrical works.

HART-NHS - Hazardous area response team .
Vision Ecs have been at HART this week carrying on with the trust wide charging works .
Removing the existing 110v transformers and charging leads and installing new mains cabling ,auto safe units and the new hanging lead configuration.

Spectrum 1600 -
Big task last week removing the exsiting generator that served the original tenant .
The generator was disconnected from the electrical mains and change over switch .
We also removed the fuel tank and flu through the roof .
The building will now be converted into a bike shelter for the new tenants across 3 floors .

Basingstoke Ambulance Station.
A successful couple of weeks completing the asbestos removal around the perimeter of the building. Carrying out works within a live ambulance station is always challenging — even more so when asbestos removal is involved.
The contents of the rooms were cleared in carefully planned stages, allowing the works to progress while still enabling the station and team leaders to continue operating effectively throughout.
This week, the installation of the new windows and doors is underway.

Skylark golf and country club -

Decking refurbishment is taking shape.
The new spindles and handrails have been installed removing the rotten exsiting ones .

Repairs to the decking and renewal of any rotten boards

Decorating underway and new artificial grass has been layed today really transforming the area .

Phase 2-Fleet workshop NHS -

Phase 2 of the new fleet workshop is now well underway. Construction of the new rooms beneath the mezzanine has begun, alongside the installation of electrical, data, and air conditioning services.
Additionally, line markings for Phase 1 have been completed, clearly defining the designated walkways.
