Sorry.

Setting your expectation from the start.

Honestly, we have worked so hard, so long and pushed. There are things out of our control that have done us in. Our expectation was to be open on Saturday, those of you that have spoken to us, I know we said it would be this week.

We just can't, and we are so sorry.

We aren't going to promise, we just going to jump out and say 'SURPRISE!' when we can go. It's most likely short notice.

It's going to be amazing.

We just ask a little grace and a little faith.

Honestly, the response and reaction from you guys is AMAZING. Even the very frustrated group of gentlemen, tonight, that I bumped in to have been very understanding. Gave them a tour and we hope you feel like they do, because they loved it.

I genuinely don't know what else to say, other than I hope we can raise a glass in the next few weeks.

Thank you for your support, understanding and your patronage.

A busy day at BOLDbeer Tasting Rooms, sorry if you got wet!

Read the next bit in a very excited, deep, manly voice very fast.

We really want it to be the best as we can get it.

Beer has been sourced AGAIN today. We've found a Great Barr brewery who do wonderful things. A little visit to Burning Soul Brewing to see what we can get from them alongside New Invention Brewery, Copper Beech Brewing Company and all the others we want on tap like Fixed Wheel Brewery.

To answer a few questions.

Hopefully next Saturday. We're fighting to get open and genuinely there are those opposed to us getting the license.
We're also waiting on the furniture which is a week late and a dartboard (it has to be the right one because the hairy viking is very particular!).
So particular that the beers and spirits compliment each other.

Hours, when we get operational.

Thursday 4-9
Friday 12-10
Saturday 12-10
Sunday 12-6 or 12-8

These may be different first few weeks as we adjust.

Food!! Cobs. Pork pies. Kabanos. Nibbles. Two Farmers Crisps. Olives. Pickles. Scratchings. Nuts.

Gluten free. Yes! Absolutely! Bottled and on tap when we can.

Alcohol free. The best of what we can find.

Smoking/vaping. No, we are a tasting room. A massive part of your taste experience involves your sense of smell. It's a no from us.

Events. YES!
Tap takeovers.
Quiz.
Crafting nights.
Gin/whisky/rum/wine/beer tastings HELLS YES!
Men's mental health clubs.
If we can get numbers, women's mental health clubs.
Vinyl Nights.

Streetfood, YES! We are reaching out to our friends for amazing scran!
We're also happy from 7pm when we don't have streetfood for people to bring in pizza from Franks Boldmere on takeout because we've got to support our mates locally and it's blooming lovely pizza!

We are building such a community focused bar and we genuinely can't wait to open, to have a beer and the craic with you.

A few surprises still to come, especially eith regard to the decor.
