The outdoor bar is on our sun-trap of a terrace and as the song goes, our team are ready to go, so you can be served swiftly throughout the day until kick off.

IT’S RACE WEEKEND 🏃‍♀️

The Sunderland City Runs are some of our favourite events of the year and this year they turn 15.

Celebrate with us tonight after your 5k or tomorrow at the official after-party here at The Fire Station following the 10k and half marathon.

This year - as well as our terrace and The Engine Room bar - we have our Runner’s Retreat marquee at the rear of the venue where you can celebrate with drinks, street food, plenty of comfy seating and the chance to have your photo taken in front of the finish line banner with your medal! 🥇

We also have coffee and breakfasts available before the run tomorrow - where you can collect your last minute numbers.

It’s one of the biggest weekends of the year - let’s do this Sunderland City Runners! 🙌

Our Sunday lunch has had a glow up 💅

You can now choose from chicken supreme, beef, gammon - or if you're vegetarian, a generous trimmings dinner.

All our roasts are served with creamed swede and sweet potato, braised red cabbage, root veg, buttered greens, herb roasted potatoes and, of course, a homemade Yorkshire pudding.

If you're doing the Sunderland City Runs on Sunday is there really a better post-race meal than this?

EVERTON VS SUNDERLAND THIS SUNDAY 🔴⚪

We're moving our jumbotron screen into our FireSide marquee this weekend and screening the full match at 3pm, followed by Newcastle vs West Ham live at 5.30pm. It's at the back of The Engine Room and The Fire Station, just walk through the main doors and out the back.

Expect the biggest screen in Sunlun, a great atmosphere, plenty of seats and a well-stocked bar.

This is the place to be this Sunday for Sunderland's final away game of the season and a great day of sport.
