So with a heavy heart I say goodbye to The Grindon. As of Monday it is under new management. All bookings are still going ahead and any room dressing will still be done by me.

We will be open all weekend but when the beer runs out thats it for me. So please come and help drink all my stock so i dont have to take any with me!

Tonight, if you fancy it, we have the fantastic Beat Thieves playing in the bar with support from Cockinass sisters! yes you read that right. I will actually be on the other side of the bar having a few drinks and saying goodbye.

I would like to thank you for how welcome you have made this Geordie lass feel. I wish i could have done better but I held on as long as i could. I made some amazing friends on the journey and met some right k***s aswell!! I have had some laughs, a few tears and lots of stress but ive always tried to keep a smile on my face.
