If there is a Mr. Poppy man, this is him. Alfie Nesbitt, no matter what life throws at him, he’s still here, never misses a shift, always doing something for our ex military guys and their families.
Here he is again today delivering the Poppy merch to the schools as they need the stuff before school holls. Nice one again Alf. Thank you.

Very sad and surprised to hear that former friends spreading poison that could damage the club.
The club isn’t closing..... Also The Poppy Appeal will be as strong as ever this year.....

Apologies in advance for reposting this a few times.

Last years appeal for Sunderland- Boldon-Silksworth- Ryhope raised over £97’500 To put us into the top 10 in the UK. It would be fantastic to get even near this amount again with the current going’s-on.
It’s going to ge difficult this year with people Stepping down due to obvious reasons, we always need some new helpers to join the poppy team, to make sure we can man the stalls the supermarkets have once again been so kind to let us have.
