It’s the end of an era here at Seaburn as we officially close our doors at Prego.
But as they say - when one door closes, another one opens!
We are thrilled to announce that from late July 2026 the site will become the home of Malabar - set to be an incredible Indian bar and restaurant experience - and something truly special to land on the seafront.
To make the magic happen, the site will be closed for a full fit-out for around three months, with our final Prego tables being served this Sunday, 19th April.
If you have a table booked after this week, you should have already had a message or a call from us, with the option to cancel or transfer your booking to existing seafront restaurant Goa*. If you haven't heard from us yet, please do reach out to us at [email protected] so we can get you sorted and pass you on to the new team.
We want to take this chance to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our wonderful customers, our hardworking staff and our loyal suppliers and partners. You’ve made the last few years unforgettable.
But now, we’re passing the torch to Taz and his team. We wish them every success and can’t wait to see what they do with the space. Please show them the same love you showed us!

In the meantime, it remains for us to say thank you once again, for every person who ate a pizza, ordered a cocktail, celebrated with loved ones or just came in for a cuppa with us.
