What a day celebrating Lunar New Year today in Sunderland!🧧

In a world in such turmoil and unrest at the moment it was fantastic to see everyone come together today to celebrate!

It was a brilliant family occasion today at Sunniside and a big thank you to our customers who joined us at Aperitif and enjoyed special Unicorn and Lion dance performances. (Some videos in the comments!) 🐲

I’m proud of my city today as I am everyday.

Sunderland Lunar New Year at Aperitif! 🧧

The Unicorn and Lion parade will start from Sunniside and end with special Unicorn and Lion dance performances at Aperitif around 3:00pm!

Celebrations have started at Sunniside be sure to head to Aperitif after! 🐉
