We are sad to share that after working with us since the age of 15, our chef Sam Phillips has left for the big smoke! Sam has helped shape our family run pub and restaurant We are so proud to say he has taken a job at core by Clare Smyth. We wish him all the best in his new job. Now we are looking for a new chef. We are a small team and we are proud of our reputation for excellent food. We specialise in seafood from the south coast, game from the rivers estates and use whole animals from surrounding farms.

When Emily isn’t pouring pints she is a paramedic and this winter she is handing out duvets, jumpers, woolly hats and anything else to keep people living on the streets warm.
