Every week, more pubs across the UK close their doors for the final time.
Not because people don’t love them.
Not because they’re not needed.
But because the costs of keeping them open are becoming impossible.
Pubs aren’t just businesses. They’re where friendships are made, families celebrate, local charities raise money, sports teams gather, musicians perform, and communities come together.
Yet hospitality businesses are still paying 20% VAT while facing soaring costs on everything from energy and wages to supplies and repairs.
Without change, many more local pubs could be lost forever.
We’re proud to be part of the campaign, calling on the Government to reduce VAT for hospitality and give pubs, restaurants, cafés and bars a fighting chance.
