Brass band fans will not want to miss this! 🎺

Join the wonderful Wantage Band and their friends, The Cotswold Voices, for a joint concert to celebrate the summer this June at Stroud Subscription Rooms. 🏛️🌞

Wantage Band is the leading, championship section brass band from the Wantage Silver Band (WSB) organisation boasting eight bands and 200+ members including three learner bands, a big band, non-contesting community band and three contesting bands, making WSB quite possibly the largest brass band organisation in the UK. 🤯

It's going to be a wonderful Sunday of music and musicianship with a delicious ploughman's lunch available to book in advance! 🧀🍎🥬

The opening track from Ye Vagabonds album gives us shivers every time. 😨 There's something so beautiful about the held-back emotional depth of 'On Sitric Road' - the build up and release of the structure, the deftly poetic lyrics and, of course, the gorgeous two part vocal harmony from brothers Brian and Diarmuid. 🕊️ It's music which gives so much pause for reflection, a song which offers comfort, connection and catharsis. We cannot wait for this Saturday the 6th of June, to welcome the band into The Sub Rooms. ✨

How can we express our gratitude for The Sub Rooms volunteers?!

We could say thank you a thousand times to our wonderful volunteers and it would still not be nearly enough to let them know how much their support means to The Sub Rooms and it's users! 💖

It's National Volunteer week this week - a time when all the volunteers of the country should be given the adulation they rightly deserve. Our time is the most precious thing which any of us has and to give it up selflessly in aid of others is a truly noble act. 💪

The Stroud Subscription Rooms Trust is blessed to have over 60 incredible volunteers on our team and we honestly could not do what we do without them. ✨

So from everyone on the team at The Sub Rooms and on behalf of all the people who use this space year-round, from the bottom of our hearts: thank you, Sub Rooms Volunteers! 🙏

Still getting over last Monday... 🤩

The incomparable Macy Gray made a glorious Sub Rooms return at the start of this week, to the rapturous applause of the audience. 🙌

Supported by Nick Ruff and Vanessa Carr, Macy treated attendees to a performance which will likely stay with everyone for years. ✨

Massive thanks to Macy and her amazing crew who blessed us with this special show. A huge thanks also to the incredible Jam and the rest of our in-house technical team who really went above and beyond for this one. Finally an enormous thanks to our duty manager, front of house, trust director, catering team and venue management who put in so much to this event. 💯

Just Announced! 🚨⚡️

Due to a venue change, The Sub Rooms is very excited to be welcoming Electric 6 to our stage on Tuesday the 16th of June. 🎉

The Detroit rock-outfit behind 00s smash hits, 'High Voltage' and 'Gay Bar' were due to perform at Gloucester Guildhall but due to technical difficulties, this event will now take place at Stroud Sub Rooms on the same date (Tue 16 Jun). 🗓️

All tickets remain valid for the new venue. All ticket holders will be contacted, if you are unable to make the new date you can get a refund from the point of purchase. 🎟️
