Hi All!! This isn’t a post we wanted to write but sadly the time has come for us to move on from The King Alfred I am absolutely heartbroken but it’s now time to put ourselves first
With the rise in all costs, beer, rent, business rates, wages & it being a brewery pub ( I don’t feel I need to go into this but unfortunately we haven’t received the support promised!)
We have had a few hiccups along our journey that haven’t helped and it’s now time to put ourselves first!! This probably would have happened well over a year ago if I wasn’t so stubborn!! Our staff are moving over to The King William with us!
Our last day will be Sunday 26th April!
Everything will remain normal until then however I don’t know the future of the pub and whether it will reopen/ when etc
Anyone with vouchers can use them until we leave or transfer over to The King William to use

Those that had takeaway Xmas dinner etc!
It will be available same quality etc but from The King William!! We have made some lovely friends in our regulars that we hope to see over in Glastonbury or maybe us the other side of the bar for a change!

We will be having some leaving drinks Sunday 19th April from 3pm with Jordan hill playing! It Would be lovely to see everyone!
