‼️DOG WALK CANCELLATION ‼️

Unfortunately, due to the severe weather we’ve had to cancel our planned dog walk. We’re sorry for any disappointment and thank you for your understanding.

However, our support for Breast Cancer Awareness is still going ahead! 🎀

The pub will remain decorated in pink and we’re encouraging both our staff and customers to Wear It Pink to help raise awareness and donations for this important cause.

Thank you for supporting us and helping us make a difference, whatever the weather. 🌸

🩷🐾 A LITTLE REMINDER! 🐾🩷

Don’t forget our monthly dog walk is taking place THIS SATURDAY 24th October!

This month we’re going PINK in support of Breast Cancer Now! 🎀💕

☕ 9:00am – Join us at The Roe Deer for a cuppa and a pastry before we head off!

🐕 9:30am – We’ll set off on our lovely 2-mile countryside walk through open fields, footpaths and woodland.

🥾 Remember your walking boots or wellies as it might be a little muddy!

🍳 if we’re back before 10:45am you can stay to enjoy some breakfast. If we’re back later why not stay for lunch?

🎀 DON’T FORGET TO WEAR PINK! We’re encouraging all our lovely customers and their four-legged friends to dress in pink to help raise awareness for breast cancer.

Whether you’re bringing your furry friend or just fancy some fresh air and good company everyone is welcome!🩷

We’d love to see lots of familiar faces and some new ones too - all coming together for a wonderful cause!

🐾 PET FOOD BANK SUPPORT 🐾

We’re sharing details of the Sandwell & Surrounding Areas Pet Food Bank, a volunteer-run organisation supporting local pets and their owners experiencing financial hardship.

They offer:

- Emergency pet food support
- Donations of food, treats, toys, beds, blankets and accessories
- Advice and signposting to additional support

As a dog-friendly pub, we love all our four-legged friends and want to do our bit to help!

We’ve set up a donation crate here at the Roe Deer and we’d love your help filling it as much as possible!

Donations welcome from 16th October to 8th November.

Once our crate is full we’ll send our donations off to support the Pet Food Bank. Every little bit makes a difference, helping keep pets happy, healthy and with the families who love them.

Can you help us fill the crate? Any donations are hugely appreciated!

Other local donation points:
• Vets4Pets Hilltop, West Bromwich
• West Bromwich Leisure Centre
• St Albans Community Association, Smethwick

Thank you for supporting our local community and its four-legged friends! 🐾

🦌 MEET THE TEAM: NIKKI!

A familiar face to Brunning & Price Nikki has joined us here at The Roe Deer as our new Deputy Manager! 🎉

With an impressive 10 years of experience at The Physician in Edgbaston, Nikki brings a wealth of knowledge, hard work and determination to the team. 💪

When she’s not busy keeping things running smoothly, she might just be tempted by a cheeky Damm Lemon or Tia Maria! 😋🍸

We’re delighted to have Nikki on board, so next time you’re in, be sure to say hello! 🦌❤️

By late November, the pub will be dressed for Christmas, with twinkling lights, festive trees and decorations creating the perfect cosy setting for an afternoon of seasonal treats, freshly baked scones, sandwiches, sweet treats and a warming glass of mulled w**e.

Adding to the magic, Darcie Edwards will be performing live, singing a selection of much-loved Christmas favourites throughout the afternoon!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month🎀💕

We are stepping out to raise money and awareness for “Breast Cancer Now” with our monthly charity dog walk on Saturday 24th October

Early detection saves lives—so while we’re out enjoying our walk, we want to remind everyone how important it is to check, look and know what to look for.

Dress your own pup in a pink bow, bandana, or collar and share your photos too!

Every wag helps.
