This furry fella was out spreading the news about the new app launched by - helping to connect folks with places and experiences across Aberdeen City Centre. Go download the app now or give the QR code a scan when you’re next in the taproom. Some amazing deals from amazing businesses included👏🏻

Due to circumstances beyond our control relating to the relocation of the boxes, we’re currently unable to confirm new event bookings after 18 July, and the timeline beyond this remains largely uncertain. We’ll continue to review the situation and share any updates when they become available. If you already have a booking with us beyond this date, we’ll be in touch with you directly.

Over the next few weeks, you may notice some small changes as we work through this transition and make the most of our remaining time at our existing location.

For now, it’s business as usual and we’re looking forward to welcoming you at the Chapelton Farmers Market on 17 May, our Summer Food Sesh on 4 July, and the Chapelton 10K on 12 July🍺🍹🥃🥩🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️

We’d like to thank all of our customers, suppliers, and charity partners for your continued support - it really does mean a lot to us, and we’re excited to keep serving you over the coming months👏🏻

That’s right - starting today, you’re welcome to bring your own drinks into The Gatehouse Taproom.

We’ll provide:
🍸Glassware
🥳Atmosphere
🤵🏻‍♂️Expert nods of approval

All for a small £5.50 corkage fee per beer😬

We’ll still be on hand to:
🙊Judge your beer choices silently
🤦🏻‍♂️Tell you what you should have brought
🥸Offer pairing notes like “aye, that’s... interesting”

We believe this exciting new model puts you in control of your drinking experience.

As many of you know, the boxes are being relocated to a new site within Chapelton. Today, we were informed that we must vacate our current location by the 12th July. The move is expected to take approximately two weeks, and if everything goes to plan, we anticipate reopening by the end of July.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of our cherished regulars, Toby. A true gentleman in every sense. We will miss listening to the stories of his younger days, as well as our admiration for his impressive passion for craft beer. It was an honour to provide a place where he found comfort and joy in his later years. The taproom won’t be the same without his warm smile and cheerful presence. Our thoughts go out to his family. Rest easy, Toby - we’ll always have a cold one on tap for you🍺💙
