The Riverside is a stunning Chef & Brewer pub restaurant that offers rooms and a lovely location on the River Trent. Found in the village of Branston on the outskirts of Burton-on-Trent, our countryside pub is perched right on the water's edge with incredible views across the river from our beer garden. Originally built in 1851, our family-friendly pub now has modern facilities including an EV charging point, free WiFi, disabled access, coach parking, and a function room. We serve classic pub food alongside seasonal specials and a pub Sunday roast, as well as a selection of local cask ales and carefully selected wines.

2 hours left of our beautiful wedding Fayre with your fabulous suppliers!!
We hope to see you soon 💍

I’m excited to be exhibiting at The Riverside Wedding Fayre on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October!

Set amongst the beautiful countryside, on the banks of the River Trent, The Riverside is a truly special setting for your wedding day — surrounded by the sights, sounds and beauty of nature. 🐁🐇🦔🦢🦆🦅🦡

And when your venue is this beautiful, why not let your wedding décor reflect that same connection to the environment.

At Once Upon a Paper, my vision is to show that beautiful, memorable wedding styling and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.🍂🍁

I’m creating a more conscious approach to event decoration, working with venues, wedding planners and couples to create unique, statement backdrops and installations without relying on single-use balloon décor.

And I believe every love story deserves to leave a beautiful impression — not a lasting footprint. ☘️

With love
