Way back in January we had a very special customer in our cafe. 💛 What a genuinely nice guy.

Filming for the celebrity series of The Great Pottery Throwdown was well underway at Gladstone and Layton Williams really enjoyed an oat milk flat white and a pecan brownie each time he popped down to see us. ☕️

Obviously, we are backing Layton all the way when we watch the new series tonight on Channel 4, and can’t wait to see how he gets on 🤗

We have had lots of pumpkins painted this week, so now is the perfect time to let you all know about our upcoming pottery pumpkin painting event.

Come to our cafe / studio, Kiln at Number 12 on Friday 9th October, 6.30pm - 8.30pm, with your friends and family for a cosy pottery painting experience & coffee.

Price £32.50 which includes:
🎃 Paint your own pottery pumpkin which will then be glazed and fired - 🎃 An Autumn Special latte of coffee with pumpkin spice & cinnamon syrup, topped with whipped cream and flake.

Double espresso and latte milk plus two shots of pumpkin syrup.. topped with vanilla hot foam & cinnamon dust

🥛 GOLDEN HOUR CRUNCH MILKSHAKE
Madagascan vanilla ice cream blended with honeycomb & brown sugar syrup and whole milk, topped with whipped cream, & a honeycomb chocolate treat

🥛 BLISSCOFF MILKSHAKE
Madagascan vanilla ice cream blended with speculoos & caramel syrup & whole milk, topped with whipped cream, toffee sauce & biscoff biscuit

It’s been amazing to see so many new faces who have just discovered us alongside faithful customers who have been with us from the start.

You are all brilliant and we LOVE how you paint our pots 💛

- 7pm - 7.35pm Nick Degg poetry reading
- 7.35pm - break (more b**r!)
- 7.50pm - 8.25pm Nick Degg poetry reading
- 8.25pm - 9pm bar open
