We got a letter this morning/Tell you how it read" ... Very sad to hear that Reg Chalker , unparallelled performer & vocalist with The Blues Train died in his beloved Wales 9/8/24. He was a true connoisseur of Electric Blues, Folk Blues and of Rock in general & knew how to share this knowledge through conversation & through performance. This video is from his concert at The PBC 5 years ago and shows him in full flow. The end of a line ... R.I.P. Reg

In the mood & tonight is the night...

After 3 years of absence Potteries Blues Club is delighted to announce the long-awaited return of its live blues concert...

After 3 years of absence Potteries Blues Club is delighted to announce the long-awaited return of its live blues concerts in the North Midlands. Sunday 7th May sees what is now a very rare UK appearance of Gillespie Blues Band with a "Bank Holiday Sunday Concert" at the Artisan Tap in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Support is by the duo Berriman & Fyles with the first public performance of their "Tribute to Little Walter". This video clip of the duo in rehearsal this morning gives an idea of what to expect. The full details of the concert and tickets are available at Gillespie Blues Band + Berriman & Fyles + Martin Bell. It will be great to see all the old faces of The PBC once again .....
