Get ready for big laughs, incredible b**rs, and an absolute feast. Our festival tent is going back up, and underneath it, we’ll be hosting a special Oktoberfest bar and kitchen here at The Feathers Inn on Saturday, 31 October from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm!

On the menu today, we are featuring Hedley wild mallard duck served two ways: a perfectly roasted BBQ breast and a rich, slow-cooked confit leg poached in duck fat.
We pair this seasonal wild game with a vibrant pink puree made from apples grown right here in our village, along with sauté shredded potatoes, celeriac, and fresh greens tossed with garlic and parsley. It truly is autumn on a plate.

This day is a true celebration of our brilliant village and local community. We have so much incredible creativity and talent right on our doorstep, and this market is all about shining a spotlight on the amazing local crafters and makers who pour so much passion into everything they create.

It’s Saturday morning and we are busy putting all the freshly baked goodness on the shelves. We have coffee at the ready served with milk from Slaley. It’s apple season in the village and we are baking these into delicious galettes. We have a new bun on the list today - white chocolate and blackberry
