Friday Night at Heaton Mersey Con Club with Dan🎉
Fridays are always a good one at the club with Dan hosting our weekly quiz night!
We kick things off around 6:30pm with the kids’ bingo — or as we like to call it, “Dinky Dabbers” 🖍️ A bit of music, dancing and bingo for the little ones to get the evening started.
Then from 8pm it’s the grown-ups’ turn with bingo followed by our Friday night quiz 🧠
After that we keep the fun going with:

The sweep will be blind until all the envelopes are bought and then they will be opened you’ll find out who you’ve got!

We’re paying out 1st, 2nd, 3rd, team with the most red cards and the team who concede the most goals! No matter who you pull out you’re still in with a chance to make some cash!

There will also be 2 World Cup wall charts up in the club, one for the World Cup and one for the sweep - just to keep it competitive 😂

The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign and petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Spearheaded by chef and publican Tom Kerridge, we’re working alongside trade bodies across the sector, such as and , hospitality communities like , and you, businesses across hospitality, to say 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Our sector pays too much tax, and VAT is the single biggest lever the Government can pull to support venues, our customers, our high streets and our local communities.

This campaign is for everyone: businesses, customers, waiting staff, chefs, kitchen porters, bar staff, hotel teams, farmers, brewers, suppliers and producers.
