Think Hawaiian shirts, tropical cocktails, sunshine, BBQ, live music and a garden full of great friends.

We’ve got an incredible day lined up:

🎸 3pm – Just Harvey
Justin and Harvey kicks off the afternoon with their cool vibes, to get everyone into the summer party mood.

🎤 4pm – 7pm Open Mic Session
The stage is yours! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just fancy a song or two, we’d love to hear you. Note…it’s the landlady’s birthday, so serenading her will guarantee you a slot 🤣❤️

🎹 7:30pm – 10pm Weird Science
Get ready for a full-on 80s party as Weird Science take to the stage with all the biggest hits from one of the greatest decades ever. Expect singalongs, dancing and plenty of nostalgic fun.

🍔 BBQ All Day
Ryan and the kitchen team will be serving up delicious BBQ favourites throughout the day and evening.

🍹 Club Tropicana Cocktail Bar
We’ll be mixing tropical cocktails all day long, bringing a little bit of holiday magic to Broughton.

👕 Dress Code
Hawaiian shirts, tropical prints, neon colours, 80s outfits, sunglasses and anything that screams holiday mode.

After an exciting two-team play-off in Chase the Joker last night, the £189 jackpot has finally been won by team “We Know Nothing” 🎉

A huge congratulations to the team and an even bigger thank you for their incredibly generous donation to the Broughton Ukraine Support Fund, organised by local resident Sue Sheppard ❤️

One of the things we love most about our quiz nights is that they’re about so much more than questions and prizes. They’re about bringing people together, having a laugh, and occasionally doing a little good along the way.

The good news? Chase the Joker now starts all over again! 🃏

After a week’s break to allow our village residents to attend the Neighbourhood Development meeting, our quiz returns this Thursday 4th June!

A huge thank you again to our regular quiz teams who clubbed together to buy the new microphone and speaker system. Whilst I was fully prepared to continue shouting questions across the room, my vocal cords are extremely grateful! 😂

📣 REMINDER…QUIZ NIGHT MOVED TO THURSDAY 4TH JUNE 📣

We’ve made the decision to move tonight’s quiz night to next Thursday, as there is an important village meeting taking place this evening as part of the local neighbourhood development scheme.

While we’re proud to be a destination pub for many people outside the village, first and foremost we are Broughton’s village pub ❤️

We actively want to encourage our locals to attend the meeting and have their say in shaping the future of our community, and we didn’t want people feeling they had to choose between an important village discussion and what is always a brilliant fun night at the Greyhound.

So… we’re simply moving the fun along by one week 😉

Our kitchen will still be open as usual tonight for all of you travelling in from surrounding areas for food, drinks and good company 🍔🍛🍕🍻

And the next quiz on Thursday 4th June will come with an exciting upgrade… 🎤🔊

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our regular quiz teams (who, whilst deeply impressed by my powers of projection, took pity on my vocal cords 😅), we now have a state-of-the-art microphone and speaker system ready for its debut!

Plus… Joker Poker is now up to £189 🃏💰
