Scotland’s qualification has truly united the nation. After more than a quarter of a century, we are back on the FIFA World Cup and what an incredible feeling it is.
I remember watching Scotland play, with the great Jock Stein as manager and the legendary leading on the pitch moments that meant so much and have stayed with us ever since.
Jock Stein took us to the World Cup in 1982 and guided us to qualification again for 1986, making it all the more special to see Scotland back where we belong.
Fans across the country and far beyond have been lifted into sheer euphoria today ahead of the game, sharing a moment that will live long in the memory.
