We’re delighted to host Lumo’s specially commissioned Stirling to London artwork here at The Golden Lion, celebrating the people, places and partnerships along their new West Coast route.

Created by artist and train driver Bessie Matthews, the artwork now proudly welcomes guests at our front doors. ❤️

A lovely celebration of Stirling and everything that makes our city and Scotland such a special place to visit.

239 years ago, Robert Burns visited The Golden Lion. 📖

To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a special Burns Supper with the Hammer Men, celebrating the connection between Burns and our hotel.

It was a fantastic evening of Scottish food, music and tradition, with haggis, neeps and tatties on the menu. A great way to come together, celebrate our heritage and raise a dram to Scotland’s national poet!🥃
