Hi… it’s been a while.

Today marks one year since the devastating flood that changed our lives and our beloved establishment forever. Reflecting upon this challenging year, your unwavering support, kind words, and encouragement have been a constant during these difficult times. A very big thank you for standing by us through thick and thin.

While The Forth Inn will not reopen its doors as you once knew it, the memories we've shared and the community it built, will forever remain a cherished part of our lives. Your loyalty and friendship was and is, very special.

Looking to the future, we can carry with us the warmth and spirit of The Forth Inn, and look back fondly of times shared with you. Though our path forward may be different, I am sure we will all look back fondly on shared memories of The Forth Inn

Thank you for being part of our story. Your friendship and patronage will hold a special place in the history of Aberfoyle.

Seriously, thank you, everybody, for your offers of support & help. It's all overwhelming, very kind and much appreciated.

It's not just via here the messages have come. Messages of support & help have also been sent personally. Everyone on the street I've met has offered the same, and people have even come to my home.
There are a lot of good people around here.
Please accept my apologies if I have not got back to you.

We have experience of this, you might be aware!
We are currently closed and will likely stay that way for a while. We are waiting for a Loss Adjuster to be appointed to visit and give us direction. I'm sure you can imagine it's a disaster zone inside the building.

I will do my best to update you when I have more news.

Look what's happening outside...

The Trossachs is looking a wee bit special just now... fingers crossed for no more storms, we've had enough rain for a while.
My favourite place on Loch Ard am today. Just add Light and this is what happens.
Forth Inn Aberfoyle (my inn) has rooms available, check the website if you fancy it, this location is 5 mins from there! (in a car!).

Here you go, taking part in another village event this time its Apple Day with Aberfoyle Memorial Village Hall.

The boys have got Apples from the Hall (thank you) and turned them into Apple Strudels, served with creme anglaise... how good is that?

Tonight is quiz night starts around 9pm vouchers for the winners & generally a great night to be had.
