Climate Cafe at The Castle ☕🌍

Looking for a warm, friendly space to talk about the climate crisis and how it is affecting us all? The Climate Cafe offers a gentle, inclusive meet up for anyone with questions, worries or ideas for change, whether you are feeling anxious about the future or energised to take action.

Come along at 10.30 for a relaxed chat over coffee, connect with others in Bramber and feel a little less alone with it all. It is a thoughtful way to spend a Saturday morning and be part of the in our community.

Local funeral directors, solicitors, a St Barnabas Hospice representative and members of Steyning Parish Church will be on hand to help take the mystery out of preparing for death.

Coming up on the International Day of Peace: an afternoon of calm, creativity and connection in Steyning, Bramber and Upper Beeding.

Join Steyning for Peace at the Steyning Centre and the Peace Tree on Fletchers Croft from 2.00pm to 5.00pm for family friendly activities including:
✨ Gathering Light Choir
✨ Clowning
✨ Dance for Peace
✨ Soft drinks and cakes provided

Founded by local residents, Steyning for Peace promotes peace through action in the community, raising awareness about conflict and injustice through workshops, talks, films and vigils. This is a gentle chance to slow down, meet others and explore what peace means in our lives. Donations on the day.

An afternoon of harp music, tea and cake at St Botolphs Church

Enjoy a peaceful Sunday at St Botolphs with beautiful live harp music and a proper cuppa. The Friends of St Botolphs are hosting tea and cake while you sit back and soak up the atmosphere in this lovely local church.

The harpist will be playing from 3pm to 3.45pm, with tea and cake served from 2.30pm to 4pm. There is no entry fee, and donations are greatly appreciated towards the upkeep of the church, so your afternoon out also supports a treasure.
