Thanks to everyone that came tonight, what a bloody night!

We would like to thank everyone for the past 12 years that we have been here. We wouldn't have been able to do it without all of your support.

We will miss all of you and really cherished the past 12 years we have been here.

We wish you the best of luck and hope to cross paths with you in the future.

It has been a pleasure.

We will be having our farewell party on Friday the 26th of August. This will involve live music where two bands will be playing, and a disco!

Please join us as we would love to see all of you before we leave.

THE CAR PARK WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE - We will be using this space for the entertainment.

Dear everyone,

It is with sadness that we announce our time at The Yew Tree is coming to an end.

Mcmullens have called for the keys to return without hesitation, it is our privilege and gratitude that Amy + Marcus and the rest of the team that have served you all wonderful people, customers, neighbours throughout the past twelve years in the Yew Tree

The pub will be handed back to McMullen's brewery, and our last official day of service will be Saturday the 27th of August.

Our final countdown to a farewell party shall commence on Friday the 26/08/2022 (stock level will be limited, but we will do our best).

Once again thank you all for your support over the past twelve years.

We hope to see most of you before we leave.

Hello everyone,

Please be informed that in this month's edition of the Walkern Journal, it was misinformed and interpreted wrongly. The situation at the Yew Tree is that the brewery, McMullens and Sons have instructed Marcus and Amy to leave by the end of August as the tenancy agreement will be exhausted and requires a new contract.

Marcus and Amy have not instructed the Walkern Journal that they are retiring as stated, we are in an unknown territory until we get the clarification of the tenancy agreement to rectify or to negotiate in the best interest to the village, to the brewery and to Marcus and Amy.

If it comes to the worst scenario meaning we have to go then it will be updated on our page, thank you for reading and following us.
