We cater for all ages and are child friendly. Dogs are welcome in our public bar. We specialise in good food from fine cuisine to traditional pub grub. Our Real Ales are very popular. We stock a good range of wines both red and white and we highly recommend our Prosecco and our Marlborough Pass Sauvignon Blanc. We have a spacious garden with lots of room for the little ones to run about. Our decked section outside provides the best view of the village. We welcome group bookings and can provide an area for meetings, clubs and celebrations. We have regular entertainment including live music, quiz nights and charity events. Your host is Genial Griff who is well known to regulars and visitors alike for his friendly and accommodating nature. So whether you live in the village or are visiting, rambling or here on business, come visit us - you won't be disappointed.

Thank you to everyone who took part in today’s Charity Cricket Match, from the organisers to the players and all the supporters. It was another great day and well attended, despite the downpours ☔️

Thank you to the Stansted Cricket Club for hosting and running the BBQ 🍖

Well done to the overall winners this year, the Stansted Social Club, who took the lead over The Queens in the final. Well done to everyone who took part 🏏

We raised a great sum of money for local charities (final amount to be confirmed) and it was another great day for the Stansted & Elsenham community 🍺
