🧹 **A BIT OF HOUSEKEEPING AT THE ROADHOUSE!**

It's not all Sunday dinners and pulling pints! Sometimes you've got to get the less glamorous jobs done too. 😂

Today it's the turn of our chimneys. They are getting a well-needed sweep and a bit of TLC from Consett Stoves & Chimney Sweeps

But here's a little detail you might not know… our chimneys are topped with original victorian King chimney pots – a lovely little piece of the building's history that has stood the test of time.

We love these little reminders of the building's past. There's more history here than you might think, and we're doing our bit to look after it for the future.

Even old chimneys need a spring clean now and again! 😉

😂 YOUR SUNDAY REMINDER…

Put the apron down. Step away from the potatoes. Nobody needs to be stressing over a joint of beef at 10am on a Sunday morning!

Let someone else do the hard work for a change. 😉

We're serving up proper Sunday dinners tomorrow at The Roadhouse Beamish.

🍖 Home-cooked roasts 🥕 All the trimmings 🥔 Crispy roasties 🤤 Plenty of gravy (we don't judge how much you have!)

🕛 Serving 12pm–4pm 🚶 Walk-ins welcome, book on our website, call 01207 233925 WhatsApp 07359399361

Your only job tomorrow is deciding whether you've got room for dessert!

See you Sunday! ❤️

📍 Come and get cosy by the fires, serving 12pm to 8pm.

Its Halloween week, traditionally an ancient Celtic festival 🎃👻

If local stories and legends are true, our pub has had some experience with ghosts!

The Pink Lady is said to haunt the Causey Arch Bridge.

Our pub is over 300 years old and if walls to talk the stories it could tell 😱

Tell us your ghostly stories 👇
