Massive thanks to Dave Rand for another amazing review, this time our Sunday lunches were up for review.

‘We went to the Ox Inn ( Oxhill - near Stanley) for our anniversary lunch today

Went for the regular beef dinner with ginger cake and custard for dessert

There was a decent portion of meat, cooked well with no fat, really nice

Veg was all cooked nicely too

Home made good size Yorkshire pudding too

Came with extra gravy and mint sauce

We cleared the plates

Not expensive at £12.50

Ginger cake and custard which was home made with crystallised ginger topping, really light and fluffy moist cake with nice runny custard garnished with strawberry 🍓 and raspberries along with a wafer which were lovely

Staff were all attentive and friendly, made sure everything was okay on multiple occasions and food came out quickly

2 mains, 2 desserts and 2 pints £40

Platters cleared, belly full and happy customers

It’s definitely much better now it’s got new owners!
