Match day result -
Woodlands Joiners 1 - AFC Amasal 2

Yesterday the lads travelled to Woodlands Joiners full of confidence from a decent start to the season, the lads dominated possession, playing some decent football. Jake Thompson opend the scoring by capitalising on some confusion in the Joiners back line and getting himself off the mark for the season.
A 50/50 offside decision went Joiners way bringing them back into the game just before half time.
The lads came out for the second half wanting to dominate possession but had to soak up some Joiners preasure before Patryk Rabiega unleashed a 30 yard top bins worldy to get the boys ahead in the game! Arguably it will be goal of the season even at this early stage. The boys didn't want to sit back and soak up any preasure so the game plan was to press and try to score again. Owen Stewart and Aaron Cass both unlucky with attempts on goal.
The number 1 stoper big Dave Ozumba pulling off an absolute worldy of a top bins save late on in the game to keep the score at 2-1

Overall a top performance from all of the lads as we continue to build on a solid start.
