Did you know Victoria Park was opened in 1908 and originally called the Victoria Park Pleasure Grounds? 🌳

As of this year, the park is 118 years old!

The park now covers 4.95 acres and contains the listed structures of the Alderman Mottram shelter and the County War Memorial.

The original park was extended twice, firstly in 1911 and secondly in 1930 when the play facilities were added to the northwest corner.

The origin of the flat white is actually debated. Both Australia and New Zealand claim to have invented this coffee in the 1980s.

The flat white is a blend of microfoamed milk poured over a single or double shot of espresso. The microfoam is steamed milk infused with air which creates a smooth, velvety texture and creamy taste.
