Have you entered our World Cup Goals competition?

It is straightforward to play - simply guess the number of goals that will be scored (excluding penalties), see details below or ask staff for next time you are in. Play as many guesses as you like!

80% of the prize pot goes to the lucky winner (or winners if there's more than one correct guess) and the remaining 20% will be used by the club to support our local sports teams.

And don't forget to join us in the club to watch the matches live on our big screen TVs, with a nice fresh pint in your hand and soak up the atmosphere as we celebrate every goal together.

Good morning Buckden!

Don't stay home - come on down to Buckden Village Cafe and treat yourself to a delicious slice of Cake lady cake, and a hand crafted Bohemia Roasts coffee. Savoury more your thing? We've got crisp bacon buttys and greggs style sausage rolls here for you too. Open 9am-1pm.

Not been before? BVC cafe is next to the playing field, there's ample free parking, disabled access and it overlooks the playground. Adjacent to the Buckden Village Hall and the Library.

Your polite four legged friends are very welcome too.

¡Hola! Buckden! It's a beautiful Saturday - the sun is out and the tunes are playing 😎 those who enjoy the warmth can take in the beauty of the field from our veranda, and those who prefer a little respite from the heat can enjoy a handcrafted Bohemia Roasts coffee in the air conditioned cafe.

We've got a fresh chocolate cake from the Cake lady to tempt you with, alongside our delicious cookies, sausage rolls and bacon butties.

We hope you have all been enjoying the half-term break - to ease you back into the 9-5 we've got some great events for you to look forward to:

CAFE
10% early bird discount Monday-Friday perfect for that post school run catch up to start the day off right.

On Tuesdays we have the TWOsday Society - offering a 50% discount off of a hot drink when you also buy a slice of cake.

CLUB
Join us after-school on Friday's during term-time for Friday Family Food Night. You deserve a night off from cooking so join us from 3.30pm and let BVC take the strain while you kick back for a catch up with friends over a well earned drink - within full sight of the field and playground. (We've kept the food menu simple - see the poster for details.)

Wednesday 10 June from 8pm is QUIZ NIGHT - our superb Quiz Mistress Maureen delivers an evening of entertainment every other Wednesday. Just £2 per person to play and there are cash prizes to be won.

Thursday 11 June, 8pm, sees the opening match of the WORLD CUP with Mexico v South Africa - catch all the action on our big screen TVs and soak up the atmosphere.

What a lovely day it is out there today! Perfect for a wander down to the cafe for a handcrafted Latte or iced-coffee - and a cheeky cookie!

Then, this evening, join us at 8pm for our ever popular quiz! Just £2 per person to play, with cash prizes to be won. It is a friendly and welcoming environment, and you can come with a team or our lovely quiz mistress will find a team for you to join if you are on your own. All welcome.
